Benita Altier began her career in veterinary technology in 1988. She has worked in small animal general practices in avian medicine, including birds of prey, canine, equine, and llama neonatal care and reproduction, as well as ophthalmology and dental specialty practice.

Benita earned her board certification through the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians by examination in 2008 and began her business, Pawsitive Dental Education LLC, in 2009. Through educating the professionals, she has impacted the lives of many more animals than she could ever do in practice She is very passionate about helping veterinary professionals learn how to perform dentistry procedures efficiently, proficiently, and safely!
